RCCB- Residual current circuit breaker It is an electrical safety device that protects the circuits. In case ,if any defect occurs in the electric circuit or supply of the current exceeds as per what is required the residual breaker significantly disconnects the circuit. When there is an irregularity between the phase and the current, the RCCB will trip, and the main power supply gets disconnected accordingly. One most important point is this type requires earthing, without earthing the extra supply of current cannot be controlled and so there are chances of occurrence of damage largely.
